Modular Deep-Cone Lab Thickener (Ø0.8–1 m)

Ø0.8–1 m × 5–10 m, complete dosing and dilution circuit — sedimentation data that scales

A modular deep-cone thickener for laboratory and pilot verification, 0.8–1 m diameter and 5–10 m height, complete with flocculant dosing, dilution and settling tanks. It produces settling and flocculation data that scales straight to industrial thickener sizing — the same geometry logic as our Ø4–60 m machines.

Typical applications

Tailings dry-stack feasibility studiesPaste backfill test workFlocculant selection and dosing curvesSizing data for full-scale deep-cone and high-rate thickeners

Why this design

  • Real deep-cone geometry — settling data transfers to full-scale design instead of needing re-interpretation
  • Complete circuit in the skid: dosing, dilution and settling, so tests start on day one
  • Modular: reconfigure height and duty as your test programme evolves

How we work with you

  1. Free preliminary assessment — send us your ore type, feed size and duty; we recommend the right configuration at no cost.
  2. Verification — run the machine in your lab, or through our accredited partner laboratory (full test programmes are quoted per sample set).
  3. Quotation in one business day — machines ship in a crate worldwide; installation support is remote or on-site.

Frequently asked questions

How does lab thickener data scale to a plant thickener?

Deep-cone lab units reproduce the compression-zone behaviour that bench cylinders miss. Sizing is done against your own settling curves, not generic catalogue data.

Can you run the tests for us?

Yes — we work with an accredited partner laboratory. Preliminary assessment is free; full test programmes are quoted per sample set.
