Balanced-Force Dry Magnetic Separator (0–10 mm)

3,500 Gauss standard, configurable 1,500–10,000 Gauss — dry verification without water

A laboratory dry magnetic separator for 0–10 mm material with a balanced-force design. Delivered at 3,500 Gauss and configurable anywhere from 1,500 to 10,000 Gauss. 2–10 kg per test or 2 t/h continuous — direct industrial verification for magnetite, mixed iron and ilmenite, no water circuit required.

Typical applications

Dry-stage verification before a dry pilot lineMagnetite dry beneficiation studiesWater-scarce site feasibility (dry flowsheets)Feed preparation quality control

Why this design

  • Dry duty — no water, no tailings handling, runs anywhere a power point is available
  • Field configurable at order time: one machine covers your whole project lifecycle
  • Balanced-force design keeps fine and coarse fractions separated cleanly

How we work with you

  1. Free preliminary assessment — send us your ore type, feed size and duty; we recommend the right configuration at no cost.
  2. Verification — run the machine in your lab, or through our accredited partner laboratory (full test programmes are quoted per sample set).
  3. Quotation in one business day — machines ship in a crate worldwide; installation support is remote or on-site.

Frequently asked questions

Why dry separation for lab work?

Many ores are first verified dry — especially where the plant will run an HPGR dry line or water is scarce. Dry lab data also avoids the moisture variable when comparing samples.

Can the field strength be changed later?

The standard unit ships at 3,500 Gauss; other field strengths are set at order. Tell us your ore and we will recommend the setting.
